Carolyn Sue Bledsoe, 69, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Friday, June 9, 2023 at The Highlands Place in Somerset. She was born August 11, 1953 in Albany, KY, a daughter of the late Homer Beck and Uldine Cross.  

Carolyn was a retired Financial Counselor from Russell County Hospital. She was a gifted artist who loved to paint landscapes and floral scenes.  Carolyn enjoyed cooking and blessed those around her with many delicious meals. She was also a talented piano player. Over the years Carolyn attended several different churches, including Russell Springs United Methodist Church, Rockhouse Bottom Christian Church, as well as Liberty Baptist Church.

1 son: Todd (Amanda) Bledsoe of Lexington

1 brother: Roy Wayne Beck of Russell Springs

1 half-brother: Richard Cross of Albany

3 half-sisters: Penny (Johnny) Russell, Tammy (Jeff) Brown, and Wendy McWhorter of Albany

2 grandchildren: Mays Bledsoe and Annabeth Bledsoe

Carolyn was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Owen and Haidee Grider of Russell Springs, KY who raised her through most of childhood.
