John David Barr, Jr., 54, of Russell Springs, KY passed away at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY after a long illness. He was born March 20, 1969 in Henderson, KY, the son of the late John Barr, Sr. and Sharon Tripp Sullivan. 
 

John was the former owner of B & B Underwater Logistics and Lake Cumberland Canvas. He enjoyed turkey hunting and spending time on the lake. John attended Pleasant Hill Community Church.

1 son: Colton (Chaley) Barr of Russell Springs

1 daughter: Brittany Barr (Dan Thorne) of Indianapolis, Indiana

3 sisters: Elaine (Charlie) Buis and Melissa Hill of Russell Springs; Stephanie Alexander of Livingston, Texas

4 grandchildren: Kian, Rylan, Cameron, and Lillianna

His stepmother: Sue Barr of Jamestown

1 stepbrother: Sean Brown of Steamboat, Colorado
