Linda Carol Bennett, 73, of Columbia, KY died Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 12:55 P.M. at Glenview Nursing Home in Glasgow. She was born August 8, 1949 in Green County, KY to the late Wesley Akin, Jr. and Virginia Mae Arnett Akin. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bennett on December 24, 2021 and her daughter, Crystal Joy Pierce. 

She attended Calvary Temple Church and was a retired factory worker.

5 grandchildren: Wesley Burris (Jessicia) of Columbia, Richard Nathanael Pierce (Jocelyn) of Troy, Ohio, Jeremiah Pierce (Miranda) of Troy, Ohio, Brook Burris (finace Taylor Perkins) of Mt. Sherman, Cherish Little (Aaron) of Troy Ohio

3 great-grandchildren

Funeral service: Monday, May 22, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Pastor Troy McWhorter and Bro. David South officiating

Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation: After 11:00 A.M. Monday
