John L. Williams, 84, of Russell Springs, KY passed away at home. He was born in Jamestown, KY on August 23, 1938, a son of the late Gussie (Sullivan) and Joe L. Williams.
He was a retired marina operator.

3 daughters: Carolyn Tarter of Russell Springs, KY;
Johnna Popplewell (Dr. James) of Jamestown, KY and Luanne Adams (Tim) of Jamestown, KY
3 grandchildren: Mandy (Eric) Weston, Emily (A.J.) Cook, & Matthew (Rachel) Adams
3 great grandsons: Layne and Avery Weston, and Owen Cook
3 great grandsons: Layne and Avery Weston, and Owen Cook
A host of nieces, nephews, & friends
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary W. Williams; four brothers: Ike, Millard, Parker and Cody Williams; and a granddaughter, Billie Carol Murray.
