Retter Bell Janes Bailey, 72, of Campbellsville, KY passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY. She was born in Milltown, KY on May 8, 1950 to the late Galeon and Sallie Keltner Janes. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sanford Bolin Bailey.

Mrs. Bailey attended the Pollards Chapel Church and enjoyed flower gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends.

1 son: Wade Bailey of Columbia, KY

2 stepsons: Terry Bailey (Tina) of Greensburg, KY and Travis Bailey (Peggy) of Russell Springs, KY

2 grandsons: Jonathan Bailey (Erin Gill) and Joshua Bailey (Emma Gaskin) both of Columbia, KY

6 step-grandchildren: Patrick, Ryan, Lindsey, James, Matthew, and Trevor Bailey

2 siblings: Ollen Janes (Bonnie) and Phyllis Stone (Jimmie) both of Columbia, KY

Several nieces & nephews

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by ten siblings: Herbert, Payne, Norman, Bill, Lewis, and Johnnie Janes, Ernestine Kemp, Ruth Burris, Freida Smith, and Sue Cundiff.

Funeral Service: 11:00amCT on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Adam Pruitt officiating

Burial: Tarters Chapel Cemetery

Visitation: Monday from 4:00-8:00pm and Tuesday until time for the service

Pallbearers: Jonathan Bailey, Joshua Bailey, Craig Clark, Anthony Brockman, Dan Held, and Lenny Stone
