Lofie Gosser McFarland Stubbs, 92, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the Casey County Hospital. She was born on January 27, 1931 in Russell Springs, KY, a daughter of the late James Joshua Gosser and Eva Gosser Chumbley.
Mrs. Stubbs was a a homemaker, Russell Sportswear employee, dairy farmer and a faithful member of Pine Grove United Baptist Church where she attended until her health failed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Chesley W. "Pete" McFarland on June 30, 198;, her second husband, John William Stubbs on November 13, 2010; a son, James C. McFarland; and a granddaughter, Kristi Burton.
