Wilma Jean Coomer, 90, formerly of the Morris Chapel community of Adair County, KY died Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at TJ Health/Columbia. She was born October 18, 1932 in Adair County to the late William J. and Patry Parnell Coomer. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maxie Coomer, a daughter, Phyllis Faye Coomer and a sister, Louise Meadows. 

Wilma retired from Fruit of the Loom and was a member of Morris Chapel Church.

3 daughters: Tina Runell Coomer of Columbia, KY, Connie Sue Shirley (Rondal) and Donna Gail Coomer both of Edmonton, KY

9 grandchildren: Melissa Ervin (Marty), Tony Shirley (Bridget), Kenneth Shirley (Julie) all of Edmonton, KY, Thomas Shirley (Kara) of Millerstown, KY, Michelle Bradshaw (Alan) of Russell Springs, KY, Jeremy Coomer (Jennifer) of Columbia, KY, Maria Shirley, Alma Shirley and Iliana Shirley all of Edmonton, KY

19 great-grandchildren & 22 great-great grandchildren

Burial: Morris Chapel Cemetery

Visitation: After 4:00 P.M. Friday
