Robert Harold Hadley, Sr., 82, of Louisville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. He was born on June 10, 1940 in Adair County, KY to the late Bart F. Hadley and Allene (Hale) Hadley.

Robert worked at AAK as a production manager/director for 52 years and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, golfing, landscaping, gardening, and was an avid runner and cyclist in his day. He loved to read and was considered a lifelong learner. He valued education and most of all he was a family-oriented man. Robert will be truly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Sally Hadley; a sister, Carol Hadley; and a grandson, Elijah Howlett.

1 daughter: Rosalyn Rae Howlett (Chris)

1 son: Robert Harold Hadley, Jr.

3 grandchildren: Chloe, Josiah, and Lydia Howlett

2 brothers: Dwight Hadley (Catherine) and Maxie Hadley (Kathy)

Funeral Service: Friday, March 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd)

Burial: Brookland Cemetery

Visitation: Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 pm and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service
