Gilbert Blankenship, 75, of Russell Springs, KY died Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. He was the son of the late Martin Elbert and Betty Roosevelt Pierce Blankenship.
Mr. Blankenship was a Veteran of the United States Army and a truck driver. He had attended the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science in Louisville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Edith Rippetoe, Maxine Antle, and Raydine Ray.

1 sister: Wilma Carman of Richmond, KY

Interment: Lawless Cemetery
Visitation: After 1:00pmCT on Sunday at the church
