James Martin "Marty" Brewner, 59, of North Vernon, Indiana passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at his residence. Born May 1, 1963, in Columbus, he was the son of Loretta (Terry) Goodin and the late Gary Brewner.
 

He was with his very loving and special companion, Glenda Farmer, for 8 years. Marty served in the United States Army for 10 years and worked for Animal Control in Jennings County. He was a member of Am Vet’s Post #7 in North Vernon and a former member of the Moose Lodge and The Eagles Lodge, both in North Vernon. Marty enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Companion: Glenda Farmer of North Vernon

1 sister: Fawnda (Rob) Fields of Plant City, Florida

Nephew: Hunter Crowe of Kentucky

Nieces: Mariah Crowe of North Vernon, Stephanie Bragg of Florida, and Jolie Crowe of Kentucky

He was preceded in death by his father, and his nephew, Jeremy Goodin.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation is planned with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Marty to Mercy Rescue and Adoption Inc.
