Timothy Neil Miniard, 63, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2023 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center in Somerset. He was born in Harlan on February 3, 1959, a son of the late Disney and Verla Smith Miniard.
 

Timothy worked as a coal miner and with the Appalachian Security Police. He was also a farmer. Timothy worked hard for everything he had. He loved to joke around, never taking things too seriously. It could be said that if he wasn’t joking around with you, something was wrong. He liked going fishing and fooling around with old cars. Timothy loved going back to the Eastern Kentucky mountains. He loved life, and he loved his family and grand-babies.

6 children: Verla (David) Barnett, Tim (Morgan) Miniard, Jamie (Fara) Miniard, Isreal Miniard and Will Miniard of Russell Springs and Mary (Josh) Shaw of Glasgow

1 brother: Sonny (Kat) Miniard of Russell Springs

1 half-brother: Michael Miniard of Russell Springs

2 sisters: Paula Ball of Russell Springs and Shirley (Ralph) New of Whitley City

4 grandchildren: Madisan Barnett, Elizabeth Miniard and John Miniard of Russell Springs and Lily Shaw of Glasgow

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, John Adam Miniard.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 2:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Silverman officiating

Burial: Bethlehem Cemetery

Visitation: After 12:00pmCT on Wednesday at the funeral home
