Chris Hicks, Jr., 75, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Ephraim McDowell Medical Center in Danville. He was 75 born March 12, 1947 in Norfolk, Virginia, the son of the late Chris Ed, Sr. and Charlene Burke Hicks. 

Chris was a helpful, giving person who had a big heart. He was especially tenderhearted when it came to animals. He and a friend bought food for and fed countless stray cats in town. Chris could always make you laugh by kidding around and cracking jokes.

2 sons: Christopher Hicks and John A. Hicks of Oklahoma

1 aunt: Betty Nabel of New York

Nephew: Jeffrey Hicks of Oregon

Special friend: June Brewster of Russell Springs

Along with his parents, Chris was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Sue Hicks.

Funeral Service: Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 1:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Proctor and Brentley Goodin officiating

Burial: Bradley’s Pleasure Cemetery

Visitation: After 12:00pmCT on Thursday
