James Roger Beard, 80, of Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Summit Manor Nursing Home. He was born June 16, 1942 in Columbia, KY, the son of the late Artis Everett Beard and Etta Burris Beard.
James was a car salesman for Don Franklin, an avid U.K. Basketball fan and of the Baptist faith.

1 great-grandchild: Allie Jo Pierce
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters: Alfred Beard, Lovie Vertrees, Christine Bell, Opal Murphy, Davis Beard, George Beard, Hollan Beard, Doris Romans, Peggy Kean, Earnest Beard and Loretta Beard.
