Carol Bernard, 81, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. She was born July 6, 1941 in Russell County, KY, a daughter of the late Arva and Edna Grider Bernard. 
 

She graduated from Russell County High School and Bowling Green Business University. Carol owned and operated a florist, “Carol & Co”, as well as her own furniture store, the “Carriage House”. She had worked as supervisor over the gift shop at Lake Cumberland State Park and in most recent years, as a realtor for Golden Rule Wilson Realty. Carol was a member of the Battlefield Baptist Church. She was an avid reader, but loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren.

1 son & daughter-in-law: Mark & Kirsten Lawless of Jamestown

3 grandchildren: Joshua Lawless, Jordan Lawless and Elisabeth Lawless, all of Jamestown

Along with her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Crystal Barkley.
