Delois Harmon Stapleton, 80, of Columbia, KY died Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab in Campbellsville, KY.  She was born on September 20, 1941 in Adair County, KY to the late Marvin and Reeda Cook Harmon. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Stapleton.

Mrs. Stapleton enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends.

3 children: Peggy Dudgeon (Billy) of Campbellsville, KY, Roger Stapleton of Columbia, KY and Harold Stapleton (Sherri) of Russell Springs, KY

4 grandchildren: April Dudgeon, Megan Bailey (James), Skylar Stapleton (Kaitlyn) and Liley Stapleton

2 chosen grandchildren: Lisa Newton and Teresa Matthews

1 great-grandchild: Garner Stapleton 

Her life-long special friend: Marvina King

1 sister-in-law: Della Jean Harmon

Several nieces & nephews

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Ed Joe, Elvin “Buddy” and Jerry Harmon.
