Nellie Karnes, 95, of Columbia, KY passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 at the UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, KY. Nellie was born on September 11, 1926 in Adair County, KY to the late Bob and Edith (Watson) Watson. 

She was a member of Plum Point Baptist Church and a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom.  

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Winfrey Karnes; one brother, Raymond Watson; one sister, Maxine Allred; one-step brother, Coy Watson; and one step-sister, Ethel Robertson

1 daughter: Linda Pendleton of Columbia, KY

1 grandchild: Tracy Jones of Columbia, KY

2 great-grandchildren: Courtney Green and Britteny Green
