Marvin Franklin, 88, of Burkesville, KY passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville.
He was born in Columbia, KY on June 2, 1933, the son of Elbert Petty and Mary Franklin.
He was of the Methodist faith, attended Red Banks Methodist Church, a logger and a farmer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Emogene (Blair) Franklin whom he wed July 27, 1957; ten siblings: Harrison, Charles, Lindsey, Elmer, Ray, Irene, Faye, Mary Idy, Cally; one son; a granddaughter; and two great-granddaughters.

2 siblings: Nanny Carter of Columbia, KY and Molly Frances Jones of Hoopston, Illinois
14 grandchildren: Brian, Penny, Chessie, Vanessa, Jessica, Edwin Jr., Kellye, Ashley, Toshua, Joshua, Kristen, Tracy, Taylor, & Chrissy

Funeral Service: Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville with Bro. Jimmy Bunch officiating.
