Evaline Godbey, 100, of Casey County, KY passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at the Liberty Care Center in Liberty, KY. She was born on Casey Creek in Adair County, KY April 20, 1921, a daughter of the late Joe and Laura Bottoms Hardwick. 
 

Evaline was of the Baptist faith and was known to all of the healthcare providers at Liberty Care Center as “Granny”.

She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Evaline was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Godbey, who passed away on November 14, 2004; two brothers: Omar Hardwick and Elijah Hardwick; and four sisters: Bessie Burton, Ruby Lawhorn, Dosha Hardwick and Edith Hardwick.

Interment will be in Bethelridge Cemetery in Bethelridge.

The family will host a private service at a later date.
