Mary Rose Hill, 85, of Corydon, Indiana, formerly of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Harrison Healthcare Center, in Corydon. She was born in Adair County on November 8, 1936, a daughter of the late Edd Lee and Clemmie Jane Collins Morgan. 
 

She loved her children and was always with them. Mary enjoyed gardening and working with her flowers. Before moving to Corydon to be closer to her children, she would faithfully attend Mount Pleasant Methodist Church.

3 sons, James Carlos (Janice) Hill, Jr. and Gary (Lisa) Hill, both of Corydon, Indiana; Steve (Rose) Hill of Jeffersonville, Indiana

3 daughters: Patricia (Randy) Woods and Carolyn (Wayne) Parnell, both of Corydon, Indiana; Tammy Watts of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

19 grandchildren & several great-grandchildren

2 stepbrothers: Marvin Morgan and Johnny Morgan

Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, James Carlos Hill, who passed away on April 8, 2010; her son, Roger Dale Hill; her daughter, Betty Ann Hill; and all her brothers and sisters.

Funeral service: Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 2:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Bodie Emerson officiating

Interment: Mount Pleasant Cemetery

Mary’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
