Della Jean Redmon, 76, of Columbia, KY died Friday, March 18, 2022 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Danville, KY.  She was born on June 2, 1945 in Adair County, KY to the late David Burton and Reeda Burton.

Della attended the Freedom Separate Baptist Church and was a member of the Sano Stars Homemaker Club.  She retired from Lindsey Wilson College Dining Center and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Her husband of 57 years: Carl Redmon of Columbia, KY

3 children: Lisa Robson (James) of Peru, IN, Rodney Redmon (Rhonda) of Columbia, KY and Bobbie Huckaby (Roger) of Columbia, KY

3 grandchildren: Carlee & Bailey Huckaby and Riley Redmon

1 step-grandchild & 2 step-great grandchildren

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerome Burton and two grandchildren: Andrea Townsend and Anthony Huckaby.

Funeral service: 10:00amCT on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Darrin Blair officiating

Burial: Freedom Cemetery

Visitation: Monday from 4:00-8:00pmCT and on Tuesday morning until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
