Brenda Sue Hatcher, 78 of Columbia, KY died Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Baptist Health Hospital in Elizabethtown., KY. She was born March 8, 1943 to the late Marvin and Thirsie Keltner Downey.
Brenda was a homemaker and member of Milltown Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Hatcher; 5 brothers: Coy, Hollis, Thomas, Kenneth and Arlin Downey; 2 sisters: Diana Stone and Zenith Hatcher; and a grandchild, Skyler Hatcher.

3 sons: Jeff Hatcher (Vicki), Randy Hatcher (Sharon Gupton), and Brad Hatcher (Melinda Knight), all of Columbia
1 daughter: Miranda Hatcher of Columbia
1 brother: Jimmie Downey of Columbia
2 sisters: Evon Legg and Geneva Holmes, both of Columbia
7 grandchildren: Malisha Hatcher (Austin Henderson), Blake Hatcher (Abby), Zack Hatcher, Tristen Keith, Austin Hatcher, Jeffery Burton (Kristy), and Stephanie Richards
5 great-grandchildren: Krew Henderson, Autumn Burton, Jordan Burton, J.R. Kelsay, and a great-grandson due in May 2022
