Richard William Bryant, 88, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Born on December 23, 1933 in Russell County, KY, he was a son of the late Timothy Bryant and Eliza Grider Gasper.
Richard was a retired construction worker and tobacco farmer. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald John Gasper; and one sister, Rozella Richards.

2 sons: Chris Bryant and Nathan Bryant, both of Russell Springs, KY
2 daughters: Shanna Bryant of Columbia, KY and Rhonda Bryant-Marsh (Scott) of Lexington, KY
1 grandson: Elijah Bryant of Columbia, KY
2 stepbrothers: Alex John Gasper (Fonda) of Florida and Jimmy Gasper (Susan) of Louisville, KY
1 step-sister: Sandy Thrasher (Mike) of Hartford, Connecticut
Funeral Service: Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 1:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Kimbler officiating
Burial: Richards Cemetery with military honors by the Russell County Honor Guard
Visitation: After 11:00amCT on Thursday at Bernard Funeral Home
