Louise Harden, 85, of the Millerfield Community of Adair County passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Russell County Hospital. Born April 11, 1936 in Adair County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Seathy and Gertrude Holt Shepherd. 
 

Louise was a member of the Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church. She loved spending time with her family and tending to her flowers. Louise also loved writing poetry and even had a poem published in the Library of Congress. She was the type of person who always wanted to help others.

SURVIVORS: 

2 sons: Nick Harden and Kevin Harden, both of Columbia, KY

1 daughter: Teena Fitchpatrick of Greenwood, Indiana

1 brother: Alan Shepherd of Idaho

1 sister: Agnes Beard of Jamestown, KY

8 grandchildren & numerous great-grandchildren

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Ray Harden; an infant daughter, Synthia Ray Harden; and 6 brothers and sisters.

Burial: New Hope Cemetery
