Donald M. Bennett, 74, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, December 24, 2021 at Green Hill Manor Nursing Home in Greensburg. He was born January 5, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois to the late William Zachary and Valtha Burbridge Bennett. 
 

Donald served his country during the Vietnam Era in the U.S. Army, was a member of Calvary Temple Church and a self-employed sign painter. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal Pierce; one sister, Barbara Madsen; and 3 brothers: Arlen Glen Bennett, Phillip Bennett and his twin Ronald Bennett.

His wife: Linda Akin Bennett of Columbia

2 sons: Adam Bennett and Richard Burris both of Columbia

1 sister: Wanda Bagby of Chicago, Illinois

5 grandchildren: Wesley Burris, Brooke Burris, Nathan & Jeremiah Pierce and Cherish Little

3 great-grandchildren: Judah, Camden and Melody Joy

Funeral service: Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Pastor Troy McWhorter officiating

Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation: After 10:00 A.M. Thursday
