Mike Allen Burton, 61, of Columbia, KY died Friday, December 17, 2021 from injuries sustained in an auto accident in Larue County.   He was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 24, 1960 to Nathaniel ‘Slick” Burton and the late Maydean Simpson Grant. 
 

He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Don Grant.

Mr. Burton attended the Bloomington Chapel Brethren in Christ Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mike enjoyed horseback riding, watching University of Kentucky basketball and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

Funeral Service: 11:00amCT on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro Ralph Foster officiating

Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation: Monday from 4:00-8:00pmCT and will continue on Tuesday morning until funeral time 

Pallbearers: Keith Curry, Justin Templin, Bo Simpson, Craig Tew, Geoff Slinker and Mark Grant.
