Kathryn Faye Carnes, 69, of Jamestown, KY passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 22, 1951, a daughter of the late Edna (Aynes) and Gordon Acton. 

She worked as a nursing assistant at Fair Oaks Health and Rehabilitation for many years.

2 daughters: Kamie Warriner and Edna Spears, both of Jamestown, KY
1 son: Douglas Carnes, Jr. of Russell Springs, KY
1 sister: Tammy Jo Phillips of Indianapolis, IN 
3 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren

Other family and friends

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Carnes; 5 brothers: Roy Acton, Corkie Acton, Dickie Acton, Jimmy Acton, and Paul Acton; 1 sister, Sherry Dewbrew; and a grandson, Jacob McGowan. 


The family chose care and cremation.
