Calvin Lee Brown, 73, of Columbia, KY died Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at his home. He was born August 7, 1948 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Calvin Sylvanius and Joan Wethington Brown. 

Calvin served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Marines, was a former officer with the Sheridan Police Department and Hamilton County Sheriff Department, a Life Member of the V.F.W. and American Legion.

3 children: Jennifer Starrett (Phillip) of Peru, Indiana, Kristine Brown of Cicero, Indiana, David Brown (Kassie) of Nashville, Indiana

2 sisters: Deborah Altman of Austin, Texas and Cheryl Mitchell of Noblesville, Indiana

8 grandchildren: Nicholas and Dustin Starrett, Alison Grider Cowart, Elijah, Emilie, Audrey, Wyatt and Wade Brown

6 great-grandchildren: Cara Starrett, Josalin Cowart, Jaden Starrett, Elijah R. Starrett, Evine Starratt and Jaxson Cowart

The family has chosen Cremation and services will be held at a later date.
