Dorothy Coomer, 95, of Jamestown KY passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. She was born on June 6, 1926 in Green County, KY, the daughter of the late Cecil and Ethel Curry Trowbridge.
Dorothy retired from Fruit of the Loom after 35 years of service and was a member of Mt. Zion Community Church in Glensfork, KY. She was a loving wife and mother.
She married William Edward Coomer on January 31, 1951 who preceded her in death on April 2, 1999. To this union one child was born, William Howard Coomer who preceded her in death on July 24, 2021. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Frances Jones and Lillian Sloan.

2 step-grandchildren: Tracie Perry and Ronda Furkin.
