Minnie Delores Acree, 76, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at her home. She was born on December 6, 1944 in Alexandria, Virginia, daughter of the late Robert and Minnie Speaks Johnson. 

She married Jimmie Acree and three children were born to their union. 
 

Minnie loved crocheting and working with her flowers. She loved cooking and baking. Minnie was a member of White’s Chapel Separate Baptist Church.

Her husband of 58 years: Jimmie Acree

2 daughters: Tracy (Barry) Stephens and Kelly (Roger) York, both of Russell Springs, KY

1 daughter-in-law: Stephanie Acree of Russell Springs, KY

1 brother: Bobby (Brenda) Johnson of Culpepper, Virginia

4 grandchildren & 12 great-grandchildren

Along with her parents, Minnie was preceded in death by her son, Mark Acree; her sister, Frances Watson; and two grandsons: Zachary Stephens and Logan York.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 2:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Davis and Bro. Daniel Masongale officiating

Interment: White’s Chapel Cemetery
 

Pallbearers: Nathan Acree, Branden York, James Colton Collins, Brian Atchley, Shawn Atchley and Emory Miller.

Visitation: After 11:00amCT on Wednesday at Bernard Funeral Home

The Acree family requests facial coverings be worn while in attendance of services.
