George “Bud” Gilpin, 92, formerly of Adair County, KY died August, 28, 2021 in Scottsburg, IN. He was the son of the late Arthur Bryant Gilpin and Mattie Mae Mann Gilpin. 
 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Hayden Gilpin and Jimmy Gilpin and 2 sisters: Ethel Long and Clarice Ashby.

1 son: Gary (Elaine) Gilpin of Memphis, IN

1 daughter: Sheryl Rippey of Columbia, KY

5 grandchildren: Michaele (Craig) Meredith, Terry (Kayla) Gilpin, Angela Gilpin, Rebekah Gilpin and Gabrille Gilpin

4 great grandchildren: Hadley Gilpin, Zoey Meredith, Regan Gilpin and Elijah Meredith

1 brother: Jr. Gilpin of Columbia, KY

Funeral Service: Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Brad Burgess officiating.

Burial: Chestnut Grove Cemetery

Visitation: After 4:00 on Tuesday, August 30, 2021
