Marie Kelly George, 83, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Russell County Hospital. Born on September 4, 1937, in Adair County, KY, she was a daughter of the late Marion and Susie Keith Kelly.
Marie was a homemaker who loved to grow a big garden. She enjoyed freezing and canning all of the vegetables her garden produced. Marie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Ben George, who passed away on August 18, 2008; three brothers, Earle Kelly, Willie Ray Kelly, and Elroy Kelly; and a sister, Lucille Cape.

3 daughters: Sharon (and Hobie) Richards, Wanda Hammond, and Doris George Lendon, all of Russell Springs, KY
8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren
