Jacqueline Jo Barrett, 82, of New Albany, IN died Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the Green Valley Care Center in New Albany, IN. She was born on August 9, 1938 to the late Cornelius and Lillian Fortner Packard. 

She was the wife of the late Estle Thomas Barrett.

Mrs. Barrett was of the Southern Baptist faith and was a Foster Parent to many children.  She loved horses and spending time with her family and friends.

SURVIVORS:

2 children: Pamela Barrett of Washington and Brian Barrett of Indiana

Foster son: Chris Hatten of Indiana

1 grandson: Nikolai Horbarenko of Washington

1 great-grandson: Jack Horbarenko of Arizona

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Damon Barrett and 3 siblings: Ann Williams, David Packard and Danny Packard.

Graveside service: 1:30pm CT on Friday, May 28, 2021 at New Hope Cemetery with Bro. Ralph Foster officiating

Visitation: Friday from 11:00am-1:00pm CT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
