James Allen Morgan, 79, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Thursday, April 29th, 2021 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. He was born at home, in Jamestown, on March 29, 1942, one of ten children born to the late Everett and Valara Melson Morgan.
James worked the family farm every day of his life, leaving the Sabbath day for rest and milking only. He was a man of simple ways, finding peace in sitting on his porch with a chew of tobacco and something to whittle in hand.
Along with his parents, Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his siblings: Calvin Morgan, William Morgan, Thomas Eugene Morgan, Paul Morgan, Edwin Morgan and Marie Hadley.

1 brother: Ralph Morgan of Russell Springs
2 sisters: Rachel Antle and Christine Antle, both of Russell Springs

Visitation: After 12:00pmCT on Sunday
