Orvis Ray Wheat, 86, of Jamestown, KY passed away at Monday, January 25th, 2021 at 9:45amCT at his residence. He was born in Jamestown, KY on December 25, 1934, a son of the late Enola (Blakey) and Harold R. Wheat.
Orivs served in the U.S. Marines as a Pvt in the Korean War. He worked as a Pipe Line Installer
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Harold R. Wheat, Jr.

1 daughter: Lana Maupin (Jack) of Mt. Joliet, TN.
2 sisters-in-law: Joan Wheat and Geneva Collins
2 aunts: Irene Blakey and Evelyn Phelps
Funeral Service: Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 2:00pmCT at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, Jamestown, KY with Bro. Stan Milby officiating
Visitation: Beginning at 12:00pmCT on Thursday at the funeral home
Interment: Wheat Cemetery in Jamestown, KY with full Military honors
H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in charge of arrangements.
