Lois Maxine Withers, 84, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the UK Albert B. Chandler Medical Center, in Lexington, KY. Born on July 15, 1936 in Windsor, KY, she was a daughter of the late Coy and Ida Delk Dick. 

Maxine was a housewife, homemaker, and a wonderful grandmother. She loved being outdoors, taking care of her flowers, and watching UK ballgames. Maxine was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Withers; a brother, J.M. Dick; and a brother-in-law, Elmo Withers.

1 daughter: Janell Grider (Doug) of Science Hill, KY

1 son: Melvin Withers (Beth) of Russell Springs, KY

4 grandchildren: Tiffany Withers, Jeff Withers, & Kayden Durham of Russell Springs, KY; Seth Grider of Science Hill, KY

2 sisters: Margie Withers and Mildred Magruder (Larry)

3 brothers: Richard Dick, Doug Dick (Sandy), and Boyd Dick (Debbie)

Funeral services will be held privately for family only on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Burial will follow in the Wilkerson Cemetery.

Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings are required.
