Betty Brummett, 91, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020 at Russell County Hospital. Born on October 5, 1929 in Russell County, KY the daughter of the late A.G. and Grace Upton Dunbar. 

Betty was a homemaker and a member of Sewellton Church of God of Prophecy. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and working with her flowers.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Brummett, who passed away on July 18, 2017; 1 daughter, Peggy Sue Willingham; and 1 brother, Jack Dunbar.

1 daughter: Judy (Ronald) Rexroat of Georgetown, KY

3 sons: Tony Brummett, Phillip Brummett, Jr., and Dudley (Trish) Brummett, all of Jamestown, KY

7 grandchildren

11 great-grandchildren

1 brother: Ralph Dunbar of Louisiana

3 sisters: Ann Dunbar, Lola Mabry, and Shirley Falk, all of Michigan

Funeral Service: Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 12:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home with Brother Mike Bunch officiating

Burial: Jamestown Cemetery

Visitation: Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 11:00am-12:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home

Social distancing guidelines must be followed by everyone in attendance. Facial coverings are required.
