Joyce D. Reese, 70, of Russell Springs, KY passed from this life on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born on September 15, 1950 in Russell County, KY she was the daughter of the late Oda Franklin and Velna Chumbley Oakes.
 

Joyce was a homemaker and long-time member of Free Union Separate Baptist Church. She loved her family. Joyce enjoyed playing the piano and sewing.

Hhusband: Kenneth Reese of Russell Springs, whom she wed on August 10, 1968

1 son: Kenvie (and Jennifer) Reese of Somerset, KY

1 grandson: Mason Reese

1 brother

5 sisters:

2 special family members: Katlyn Ison and Ernest Bishop

Special friend: Fannie Shaw

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by one brother.

Visitation: 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. Monday, December 21, 2020 at Bernard Funeral Home
