Joan Cole Lawless Loy, 80, of Columbia, KY died Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville. She was a daughter of the late Sylvester and Elsie Coomer Cole.

Joan was a member of Columbia Baptist Church and a retired Register Nurse at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Gene Lawless; her daughter, Deborah Jo Lawless; and a sister, Julia Loy.

6 grandchildren: Calder Lawless, Nicole Loy, Spencer Loy, Brooke Walker, Kayla & husband John Stockton, Lindsay & husband Seth Dunbar

5 great-grandchildren

In accordance with the Governor’s Mandate, all services will be private with burial in Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Somerset.
