Louis Stargel, 77, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on November 17, 2020 at his home. Born on April 8, 1943 in Russell County, KY, he was a son of the late Elvis and Lorene Withers Stargel.
Louis was retired from the United States Navy after 17½ years of service. During this time, he served during the Vietnam War. Louis enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherri Stargel; and 2 brothers: Earl Wayne Stargel and David Stargel.

3 brothers: Dennis (Pamela) Martin of Louisville, Jimmy (Kay) Stargel of Glasgow, Roger (Gina) Stargel of Russell Springs
3 sisters: Sandra (Harry) Hainey of Nancy, Janet (Sam) Loy of Russell Springs, and Debbie (Tommy) Whittle of Russell Springs
Graveside Service: Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 12:00pmCT at New Friendship Cemetery with Bro. Charles Edwards officiating. Full military honors by the Russell County Honor Guard.
