Juanita Dowell Blankenship, 86, of Columbia, KY died Friday, October 2, 2020 in Campbellsville, KY. Born in Adair County, she was the daughter of the late Dolphus and Helen Rogers Dowell and wife of the late Elmer Chapman “Jack” Blankenship.
Mrs. Blankenship was of the Baptist faith and a retired school teacher, starting her career in rural Adair County at a one room school and finishing at Colonel William Casey Elementary School. She enjoyed Kentucky basketball, bingo, fishing and genealogy.
