Ruth White, 87, of Columbia, KY, formerly of Campbellsville, KY passed peacefully from this life on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Taylor Regional Hospital. She was born to the late Elmer W. and Lola (Pike) Clark on January 29, 1932 in Taylor County.
Ruth was a retiree of the United States Department of Agriculture, and a faithful member of Green River Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. White carried herself with dignity and respect, and engrained a legacy of compassion and love in her children and grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Clark.

6 grandchildren: Caleb White & wife Casie, Brandon White & wife Amanda, Amy Holmes & husband Keith, Joy Fletcher & husband Steven, Jenna Wethington & husband Shannon, and Mollie Tucker & husband Logan

Funeral Service: Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 11:00 AM EST (10:00 AM CST) in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Bennett officiating
Burial: Green River Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery
Visitation: Monday, Jan. 6, 2020 from 5:00-8:00pmET (4:00-7:00pmCT) at the funeral home
