James N. “Jimmie” Smith, 76, of Burkesville, KY passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Louisville, KY on Thursday, November 5, 1942 the son of the late Finis P. and Norma Louise (Jesse) Smith.
He was a member of The Highland Chapel United Methodist Church, Graduated from Cumberland County High School, (class of 1961), a sewing machine mechanic, having worked at Bob Evans. After retiring he worked at IGA grocery in Burkesville.

Funeral Service: Friday, October 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY
Burial: Burkesville Cemetery
Visitation: Thursday, October 17, 2019 after 3:00 p.m.
