Jenice Madeline Prater, 85, of Russell Springs, KY died Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Russell County Hospital. She was born August 23, 1933 in Russell County to the late Thomas Newton & Sara Snow Scales.
She was a Bank Teller at First National Bank and a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Wayne Prater and a grandchild, Brandon Ross

3 grandchildren: Mark Robert (Slavona) Prater, Russell Springs; Lauren (Timothy) Wade, Savannah, GA; Heather Prater
10 great grandchildren: Ciara, Julia, Brooklynn, Madeline, Ethan, Lydia, Cora, Leigha, Amelia, & Jude
1 half sister: Faye Burton
Funeral Service: Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11:00amCT at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Preston Richardson, Bro. Dennis Price, Bro. Paul Roy, and Bro. Timothy Wade officiating
Visitation: 5:00-8:00pmCT on Tuesday at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel and after 9:00amCT on Wednesday at the church
Interment: Union Cemetery
