He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was owner and operator of Noel Logging for more than thirty years and was proud to work with his son, Sean. He united in marriage to Danyelle Epley December 17, 2006.

Besides his wife, Danyelle Noel of Bass Ridge, he is survived by 1 son and one daughter: Sean Noel and wife, Lori of Bass Ridge and daughter, Hayley Noel of Campbellsville; 3 grandchildren: Taylor Noel, JamesMark Noel and Morgan Cox and husband, Jonathan of Bass Ridge; 2 great-grandchildren: Joey Cox and Jessi Cox; his mother, Shirley Noel of Bass Ridge; 3 brothers and one sister: Jonathan Noel, Paul Noel, Stephen Noel and Phyllis Noel of Bass Ridge; father-in-law and mother-in-law: James and Dena Epley of Russellville; 2 sisters-in-law: Diane Burchett and husband, Benny, Rebecca Dykema and husband, James; one brother-in-law, James G.
