Vernon Dale Bennett, 65, of Columbia, KY, the son of the late Morris Vernon and Evelyn (Tabor) Bennett, was born April 15, 1953 in Adair County, KY and departed this life on Friday, March 15, 2019 in Columbia at his home.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: David Gale Bennett.
Vernon was of the Baptist Faith, a former auto detailer, a carpenter and mechanic and was a musician for a local country/rock band known at the Sterlings.

2 sons: Bobby Bennett of Columbia, KY; Juston Bennett of Russell Springs, KY
3 grandchildren: Nathan Bennett, Delaney Bennett & Minley Bennett
Special friend: Anita Napier of Columbia
At the request of Dale, cremation rites were honored by L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Campbellsville.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
