Jimmie H. Rodgers, 80, of the Portland community in Adair County, KY died Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 1:31 P.M. at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born May 6, 1938, in Adair County, to the late Pierce and Lora Posey Rodgers.
Jimmie was also preceded in death by his sister; Zelphar Smith and 2 brothers; Augustus “Cricket” Rodgers and Isiah “Shorty” Rodgers and 1 nephew; John Smith.
Jimmie was a member of Tarter’s Chapel United Methodist Church and a farmer.

Funeral Service: Friday, March 1, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Withers and Bro. Darrell Coffey officiating
Burial: Tarter’s Chapel Cemetery
Visitation: After 10:00 A.M. Friday
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Tarter’s Chapel Cemetery would be appreciated and can be left at the funeral home
