She had made a profession of faith in Christ, attended Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, and was a former bookkeeper. 

She united in marriage to Billie Gene Fields on March 24, 1956 who preceded her in death on March 3, 2010.

7 grandchildren: Mia Fields, Maison Fields, Zach Fields, Olivia Fields, Rachel Fields, Isaac Fields, and Luke Fields

1 great-grandchild: Conner

1 sister: Nancy Cooper of Alabama
