Thelma Nan Rains Bertram, 87, was born July 24, 1931 the daughter of the late Herbert and Audie Crabtree Rains. She passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the Wayne County Hospital.
Thelma was the last surviving member of the Herbert and Audie Rains family.
She was a active in the community being a member of the Woman’s Club, the Red Hat Society and the Volunteers of the Wayne County Hospital. Thelma was also active in her church where she taught Sunday school for many years and was a member of the Monticello Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Samuel Bertram.

10 grandchildren: Alisha Morris, Tonia Middleton, Cristal Collins, Courtney Richardson, Brandy Stephens, Sammy Bertram, Amy Withrow, Danielle Withrow, Joe Garland and Daniel Garland
16 great grandchildren
Funeral Service: Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 2:00pmET at Hickey & Son Funeral Home in Monticello, KY
Burial: Elk Springs Cemetery
Visitation: 11:00amET on Tuesday until time of funeral service
