Marvelle J. Beard, 79, of Campbellsville, KY, a daughter of the late Cliff Jerde and Carrie Halverson Jerde, was born June 11, 1939 in DeKalb, Illinois. She died at 9:41 P.M., Saturday, January 5, 2019 in Campbellsville.
She professed faith in Christ and was of the Lutheran faith. Marvelle was a retired physical therapist with the Holy Cross Hospital in Florida.
She united in marriage to James Beard in 1987.
Besides her husband, James Beard, she is survived by 1 son and 1 daughter: Tom Kennedy & wife Theresa of DeKalb, Illinois and Carrie Valencia & husband Jorge of Davie, Florida; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers and 3 sisters: Harold Jerde, Paul Jerde & wife Karen, Dean Jerde & wife Terry, Carmen Osland & husband David and Marilyn Mathison & husband Merv of DeKalb, Illinois, Carol Rumpf & husband Ron of Peoria, Illinois; Several nieces, nephews and many other relatives & friends.
