Hazel Black Vest, 96, of Liberty, KY passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Liberty Care Center. She was born in Middleburg, KY on June 14, 1922 a daughter of the late Arrid Keith Black and Maudie Goodman Black.

Hazel was the widow of Jason “Jake” Vest who passed away on October 18, 2013.

Hazel was a Housewife and a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

SURVIVORS: 3 Daughters: Mary Sharon and (James) Clark of Liberty, Virginia Kaye and (James) Chapman of Elizabethtown, KY and Anieda Sherri and (Mike) Wells of St. Louis, MO, 7 Grandchildren: Stacia Bell, Christy Davis, Darren and Keven Chapman, Kelly Faulkner, Michael and Katie Wells, 9 Great Grandchildren: Emily Corn, Kieran McAninch, Jake and Christopher Davis, Julia, Hanna and Jordan Chapman, Olivia and Joe Faulkner, 6 Great Great Grandchildren: Patrick Bowlin, Kayden McAninch, Haylee and Laura Davis, Jason and Jaina Chapman, 2 Step Great Great Grandchildren: Cole and Madison Wardrip and 1 Sister: Karen Barlow of Tuscon, AZ

Besides her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Victor Black & Junior Black.
